Dwarf crocodile

About This Project

Measuring less than two metres in length, this crocodile is a powerful swimmer with a body well-adapted to the water. It catches its prey by surprise, generally taking them in the water when they come down to drink.

Non-aggressive by nature, it is hunted for its meat and is also suffering from loss of habitat. It may soon disappear from some countries.
